ANNUAL REPORT - EDUCATE!

I applied my communication and storytelling expertise to design Educate!'s 2023 Annual Report, creating an engaging and visually compelling narrative that highlighted the organization's impact across Africa. I prioritized a balance between vibrant visual elements and a clear, reader-friendly layout to showcase Educate!'s achievements. By weaving together powerful photographs, key data points, and testimonials from students and mentors, I ensured the report communicated not only the outcomes but also the transformative stories behind the numbers. My design choices focused on drawing readers into the mission of Educate! and inspiring them to connect with its vision for youth empowerment and education reform. Through this process, I aimed to create a report that was as impactful as the work it represented.

COUNTRY FACTSHEET - HRNS UGANDA

As Regional Communications Specialist at HRNS, I led the design and development of the Uganda and Tanzania Country Factsheets, creating impactful resources that showcased HRNS' work in East Africa. For the Uganda factsheet, I crafted compelling text and conceptualized a layout that became the template for subsequent country factsheets including the Tanzania version. These concise, visually engaging brochures highlight HRNS' activities, achievements, and impact in Uganda since 2005, serving as key marketing tools to amplify the organization's mission. Designed for both print and digital use, these factsheets effectively communicate HRNS' story and connect stakeholders to the transformative work being done on the ground.

COUNTRY FACTSHEET - HRNS TANZANIA

Building on the HRNS Uganda Factsheet template, I collaborated closely with my colleagues in Tanzania to create an accurate and impactful HRNS Tanzania Factsheet. By pooling their expertise and local knowledge, I ensured the content was both authentic and compelling, effectively capturing HRNS' work and achievements in the region. This project highlights my ability to envision and deliver high-quality marketing publications while showcasing my skill in working with cross-functional teams across different geographical locations. Together, we produced a factsheet that not only informs but also inspires, aligning seamlessly with HRNS' mission and goals.

Through thoughtful writing and strategic content organization, I ensured that each factsheet effectively communicated the essence of the projects, serving as an informative and compelling resource for stakeholders and partners.

TRAINING MANUAL FOR SMALLHOLDER FARMERS - HRNS UGANDA

I took a lead role in developing a training manual for HRNS Uganda, overseeing the editing and design process to ensure the final product was both practical and visually engaging. While collaborating with an illustrator to incorporate compelling visuals, I focused on crafting a user-friendly layout that would resonate with smallholder farmers in rural Uganda. This printed manual provides clear, actionable guidance on starting farming as a business and is now actively supporting farmers in transforming their livelihoods. Through this project, I contributed to creating a resource that bridges knowledge gaps and empowers local communities.

I contributed by designing and preparing infographics that simplified complex concepts and collaborating on the development of several chapters. The scale and complexity of the project demanded meticulous planning, coordination, and adherence to tight deadlines. This experience underscores my ability to manage large-scale projects, deliver high-quality outputs, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
