As the Regional Communications Specialist for HRNS, I directed and produced this video highlighting the impact of a climate change project HRNS implemented in Uganda and its impact on smallholder coffee-growing families. Focusing on their personal stories and the project's transformative impact, the video conveyed the challenges faced by the farmers and the support provided by HRNS.
As the Regional Communications Specialist for HRNS, I led the production of this video showcasing the results of a project aimed at training smallholder coffee-growing families. I took on multiple roles, directing and producing the video, as well as narrating the script that I developed. The video effectively highlighted the positive impact of HRNS' agricultural practices on the livelihoods of these project participants.

In my role as Regional Communications Specialist for HRNS, I successfully directed and produced this video showcasing a collaborative project addressing the effects of climate change on smallholder coffee-growing families in Uganda. In addition to overseeing the creative aspects, I also demonstrated strong project management and planning abilities by effectively coordinating Project Managers from three implementing partners. This achievement stands as a testament to my exceptional project management skills and ability to seamlessly bring together multiple stakeholders for a common goal.

I had the privilege of being hired to cover the first multi-country mission to Africa by the United Nations Secretary-General's Envoy on Youth, Miss Jayathma Wickramanayake. As part of a dedicated three-person communication team, we documented the entire mission, travelling to Senegal, Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa in just under two weeks. During the journey, I took on the responsibility of filming and producing this captivating highlights reel video capturing the essence of the trip.

UNFPA KENYA - FAITH'S STORY "HER STORY, HER VOICE CAMPAIGN"
During my volunteer work with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Kenya, I encountered Faith Kiraison's distressing narrative. At a tender age of eleven, she fell victim to the devastating practices of child marriage and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Motivated by a deep sense of empathy, I created a powerful digital media advocacy campaign titled "Her Story, Her Voice" to shed light on Faith's experience (and the experience of other women) and advocate against these harmful traditions. The campaign videos garnered approximately 10 million impressions across various social media platforms, amplifying the message and creating awareness surrounding these critical issues.
UNFPA KENYA - AISHA'S STORY "HER STORY, HER VOICE CAMPAIGN"
While volunteering for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Kenya, I discovered Aisha's gripping story. Living on Kiwayuu Island with limited access to healthcare, Aisha endured a traumatic childbirth experience, nearly losing her life. Inspired by her resilience, I created a video as part of the "Her Story, Her Voice" digital campaign that I conceptualized, to shed light on her ordeal and advocate for improved maternal healthcare access in remote areas.

As part of the "Her Story, Her Voice" campaign, I produced a video highlighting the experiences of Naomi and Purity, teenage mothers from Kilifi County, Kenya. With 19% of girls aged 15-19 having children in this area, I aimed to address the underlying issues of gender inequality, poverty, gender-based violence, child marriage, and limited opportunities for education and employment. The video aimed to raise awareness about the risks and challenges faced by adolescent girls during pregnancy and childbirth, emphasizing the urgent need for comprehensive support and interventions.
